    Wow okay so I guess my computer was having a hard time yesterday because now it is working lol anyway thanks for helping!

    It was the java installer and then I tried the windows one as well

    I have been having troubles over the past few days because when I try to install forge for 1.8.9 the .jar file doesn't seem to install with the .json. This has been annoying me so if anyone can help that would be great!
