    My Forge server isn't working

    I am running a 1.8.9 forge server, and I have the 1.8.9 version of SecurityCraft-(https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/securitycraft-mod) running and installed on the server. In the modded server, the mod menu is available and you can still put items from the mod into your inventory. But, once you use the item in any way, the item immediately disappears from your inventory into nowhere. I would like a way to fix this because I have an idea for a game involving this mod called "Infiltrator". I know this i partially breaking the rules, but either way I would like to have this fixed. So, if you can help me, please do. I am hoping to add this to a real server eventually for an actual game.
