hmmm....yeah. I also said it was the latest but it was the recommended version. Sorry for that. So the recommended version caused the crash. The one that I am using right now is 2453, which has no problems. Here's the log for 2387 Log1.txt

I downloaded the very latest release today and created a new profile to play it. It crashed: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release I edited the Java exec in profile from javaw to java but did not resolve the issue.

Does anyone have any input?

Just an update here. The fix for this issue was in JVM. The JVM arguments were configured by a shaders mod I downloaded thus the game crashed. The problem has been rectified.

I need some help, please. I am new to MC and wanted to download a shader mod. I downloaded a GLSL shader mod (1.11.2) and it crashed my world because it couldn't get passed the loading screen where it tells me it is generating the world and loading. I have a copy of the exact saved world and that will not open either. So I tried with creating a brand new world and it did the same thing. I forced updated and it didn't work. Is the Holographic Displays mod available on Forge? I know you download the plugin/mod from Bukkit, but Forge is incompatible with that, right? I would just like the floating text to be in my new world, but I don't want to do the armour stand cheat thing. I may have accidently put this into the wrong sub-forum. Can the mods put it in the correct one? Thanks.

Not sure. It might work but I don't want to download a different launcher to use it.

Cause when I'm in MC creative I don't like the slide after effect that I get, so I've been advised that a simple fly mod will suffice to elliminate this problem.

Hi, I need help getting a flymod to work with Forge. I've searched this very site for any information and the results have not produced much. I downloaded a jar file from a flymod (offsite) and then put that .jar file into Minecraft mods folder. I loaded Minecraft hoping it will start the mod along with Optifine. Optifine works but not the flymod. According to the website I downloaded it from (which according to a forum is the most stable download), the flymod is the latest release and that no problems were reported. But it didn't work. So I spent last night searching for a flymod and didn't find anything apart from a thread where it said that there were so many flymods around it was impossible to count them. Really? I haven't found much at all. Could you suggest a simple flymod for me that will work with Forge. I am using W10 (not WIN10 edition MC) by the way and all is up-to-date.
