  1. Update: I completely uninstalled Minecraft and then reinstalled, along with Forge, and now it's working fine, but thank you all for your help!
  2. It never worked with just Forge and not Optifine, when the problem started I had Optifine, MinecraftCapes, and Xaero's Minimap and after trying to run it a couple times without the mods with an eye to seeing if one of the mods was causing it I found that wasn't the case, but just in case I took Optifine out when I ran it with the latest forge, here's the log:
  3. I believe this is the MD5: 3E9F2730A8654500B2452F3B3DEC9968 And here's latest.log:
  4. okay, here's the new log with -Dfml.debugAccessTransformer=true in the jvm arguments: my computer is set to english, and how exactly do I find the MD5?
  5. As I said in the original post, I already did that to no avail
  6. I did this and the game still crashes upon opening the game.
  7. I used the installer from the website and selected install client, and I'm using the new launcher version 2.0.832. Also, thank you (and loordgek) for telling me that the .jar file isn't the problem, I just noticed that the working versions had it and the ones that won't open didn't so I assumed that might be the problem.
  8. Okay I used pastebin and I think this is the right thing:
  9. wait sorry I didn't see not to attach the log to the post, I am extremely sorry, I will have it in a minute
  10. Sorry about the lack of logs, here you go fml-client-latest.log
  11. all the working versions of forge have .jar files. and what logs do I post?
  12. Okay so whenever I try to launch forge 1.11.2, it gives me a message that the game has crashed due to an unexpected error. I installed the latest version of java and my drivers are updated After downloading forge it gives me the success message, but when I go into versions there aren't any .jar files for the version of forge I want (the most recent one, though the problem appears to exist for any 1.11.2 versions of forge). There's a folder and .json files, though. Does anyone have a way I can download it? Or does my problem lie somewhere else? Also I'm not sure if I need to provide a crash report, but if I do I can't figure out where to find it, so could I get some help with that?
