Sadly that didn’t work and I’m still confused on why it’s not working

The photos aren’t uploading. It says “Could not open the game directory. Please make sure the folder path is valid: /Users/myUserInfo/Library/Application Support/minecraft”

I can open the folder, but I can't edit it (add maps and stuff).

I've been wanting to add maps, but whenever it try to open the game directory it shows a message that it is not valid. Please help!
