im trying to download forge but every time it says that it was blocked because this type of file can harm my device. help please :(

What browser are you using, if chrome then ignore this message, this happens to all.jar files

i am using microsoft edge, how do i install forge if this keeps happening?

 

I dont use edge but im fairly certain that if you go to the settings you will find an option that prevents saying that, (im guessing) i use chrome and there a message like that pops up and u can press continue with no problem
