Forge Mods 12.2 on Minecraft 12.2 not found on client when trying to join multiplayer server

I cannot figure out what it means when it says it cannot find the specific mods on the client that are required for the server. I have dowloaded all the mods needed(yes the right versions) and it says NONE of them are found on client. At the launcher I selected the mods folder with all my mods in game directory when I selected forge 12.2-forge-14.23.5.2885 in instillations. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Please be kind, I do not understand computers I am trying my best and just trying to get on a server with friends.
