Mouse keybinds not working

sorry in advance im not very good at explaining things. so when I play one 1.8.9 And i'm holding control or shift one of my mouse key binds doesn't work, i have two mouse key binds set, one of them works fine this is the one i use to access hot bar 1 slot, the other key bind is to access hot bar 2 slot, the problem tho is if im holding control or shift and when I press the key bind for hot bar 2 slot it will go to hot bar 1 and then i can go to hot bar 2 slot unless i stop holding control or shift, the same happens when im holding left click, im pretty sure this has something to do with the LWJGL-update but im not sure and i have done research but i cant find anything. any help would be greatly appreciated.
