[1.17.1] 3D model in hand and 2D model in inventory

I'm new to modding (and developing too by the way) and I wanted to create an adjustable spyglass. I have two models, "adjustable_spyglass.json" and "adjustable_spyglass_in_hand.json" but I don't know how to tell the game to load the model in hand when it's well... in hand and the other when it's in the inventory, in an item frame or when it's dropped. Sorry in advance, I guess it's probably a common mistake that I could have avoided if I knew how to code :/

Thank you so much for your reply ! I tried what you said, but the texture in the inventory is darker than normal. Did I do something wrong ? I tried to mess with ambientocclusion or gui_light in despair but obviously nothing worked lol
