ok so i downloaded the forge server files for 1.16.5, i made the run.bat file i renamed the forge server file to forgeserver.jar, and when i tried to run it, it keeps trying to run in java 16, which isnt supported. so i downloaded java LTS 8, but the server is still trying to run java 16. so all i need is how do i make it run with java 8.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_301\bin\java -jar forge.jar" -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar forgeserver.jar nogui
PAUSE

and it gave me this

yeah i have all my server stuff in one folder. but i just tried something i dont know if i was supposed to do it but i tried changing something in the bat folder, if its really messed up i can change it back.

it was this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_301\bin\java" -jar forge.jar -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar forgeserver.jar nogui
PAUSE

But now its this

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_301\bin\java" -jar forgeserver.jar -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar forgeserver.jar nogui
PAUSE

And it gave me a decent load up but then gave me a big error
