Forge not launching

Hello.

Recently I have encountered a problem with forge, specifically version 11.15.1.2318 for minecraft 1.8.9. When I click play, the bar at the bottom of the screen doesn't fill up, and stays empty, while showing the word "launching". (Basically it takes an incredibly long time to launch.)

Ever since I have encountered this problem, I have not had one successful launch, even after leaving my pc running overnight while it was launching.

Before I left my PC launching overnight, I also reinstalled forge and updated java to the newest version.

(Note: Last time I tried launching, it was over a month ago)
