Updating worlds from 1.16.5 to 1.18.1: help!?

Hi guys,

I've been using the forge/worldedit now about 2 years, and did the update from 1.16.5 to 1.18.1 today (had really no time in between to follow-up).

But I'm kind of an amateur on this matter, even though I try to follow up ont hings.

I have always been backing up the worlds in between updates, bringing them over to new versions and it has always been working fine.

But today I updated from 1.16.5 into 1.18.1 and when bringing the worlds from 1.16.5 into the new server, it's just fucked up.
Wrong blocks, wrong sounds, ... usually I just had to copy and paste the folders "world", "world_nether" and "world_the_end" and paste them into the new server directory.

But today it's unfortunately not working. Anyone who can give me a hand?

  DON'T install with sudo, install in a folder in your home directory, and leave out the sudo. $ sudo -jar forge-x.x.x-x.x.x-installer.jar --installServer Don't do that just do this $ java -jar forge-x.x.x-x.x.x-installer.jar --installServer then run it with ./run.sh so it's not in root mode. using sudo will also cause some of the files to be unavailable if you are using a folder in your home director like I am.

  I'm playing on 1.19.2. The issue started after I downloaded: Immersive Portals, Infinite Abyss, Shadowlands, The Abyss 2, The Ceilands, and the Undergarden. I am able to start a new world but when I try to do dimension stacking it crashes right as it starts to initialize the world.
