[FIXED] Freezes at "Data assets/minecraft/blockstates/brown_glazed_terracotta.json"

When I'm trying to load my game (Forge ver39.0.46) it loads everything up until it gets to "Data assets/minecraft/blockstates/brown_glazed_terracotta.json" then freezes.
I've tried this on the latest version (v39.0.55) and it does the same thing. This is also before having added any mods, as I wanted to test whether it would crash on first run.

Why does this happen, and what can I do?

 

EDIT: Nevermind. I found out the problem was the fact that I had the directory in a synced Google Drive folder, which caused it not to be able to access/write data as quickly as required.
