Game keeps crashing with error code:1 and saying "invalid java runtime configuration"

While I was putting together my first modpack (using fabric) i would get the same error message every time of 

"This crash may have been cause by an invalid java runtime configuration. Check any custom configuration settings."

with exit code:1

so i looked at my config file and nothing was in it and when i looked at the crash report i didn't understand anything and so if someone could tell me what to do to fix this that would be awesome
