I was having this exact problem, and it turns out that using 1.18.1 optifine on 1.18.2 forge crashes your game

once I got the newest optifine, it worked perfectly! hope this helps, if you haven't fixed it on your own yet

You Could Have a 1.18.1 mod in the mod folder delete it or update it

I'm having this same problem. I've taken out each mod and run it but I still get this error. I also removed optifine and reinstalled java but nothing is working.
