I just installed forge for 1.18.2, whenever i click play I crash before i get to the menu. ill paste the crash report below.

I was having this exact problem, and it turns out that using 1.18.1 optifine on 1.18.2 forge crashes your game

once I got the newest optifine, it worked perfectly! hope this helps, if you haven't fixed it on your own yet

I'm having this same problem. I've taken out each mod and run it but I still get this error. I also removed optifine and reinstalled java but nothing is working.
