I`m making my first mod and I get some problems about where to put the item Instance

I`ve finished the pre-work.

and I checked a tutorial module article and it says:

let's create a package (Package)
All future item categories will be placed here
Then we create a Pudding class and inherit minecraft's native net.minecraft.item.Item class

that is my question because I don`t know where package to put in or in 1.18.1 this thing is can`t work. (This article is in 1.15.2 (don`t ask why because I just can find this))

I`m stuck in it I hope you guys can help

p.s.1 sorry about my grammar or spelling I`m poor at it,I try to correct the mistake about it : (

p.s.2 do you guys have the recommended video about java? I want it : )

so I just need an item class,and create a package in anywhere it`s will be ok?
