Hey guys. I am really nooby and literally just started coding forge.

I am trying to make a mod that renders a line from the cursor to the player that you hit until the player that you hit is x blocks away but i have absolutely no clue how.

i watched 2 tutorials from thexnator to get the framework of the mod but now im clueless as on what to do since the forge docs arent for minecraft version 1.8.9.

oh yeah and also im trying to code this on minecraft version 1.8.9

and also if there is a way to make the line a certain color that that would be really helpful to show me.
