Forge Jar file wont run

Hi all,

I'm trying to start a local forge server. i used the 1.12.2 forge installer for the client and server files. I started the server.jar file and did the eula, I tried to start the forge file but it wouldnt open and I just get this error " Unable to access jarfile forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2860.jar". I have reinstalled the server files. I have also reinstalled java and nothing has worked.

Update.

I changed the filename to just forge.jar and got this error message instead.

UPDATE FIXED.

i had to uninstal the JDK
