Forge 1.12.2 is fucking up my java files

i like playing modded Minecraft so i have multiple forge version´s so i tried to help my friend with it but he didn't want to go through the installation process so i copied the installer for 1.12.2 to his usb then i helped him set it up but the we tried to open it and it said that my java config files were basically fucked so i tried it on my pc and it said the same they were both crashing constantly how to i fix this
