Hello! Welcome to MimeCraft!



ABOUT US



MimeCraft is a 1.18.2 semi-vanilla Spigot Java server!

The server is owned and run by Ethanzo and OtterlyLesbos. We’ve been playing Minecraft together off and on for almost a decade, with a close group of friends. We recently decided that it would be a fun idea to create a brand new Minecraft server and community similar to Mindcrack/Hermitcraft, where the community is the central focus! Our goal is to carefully curate an active player base that cares for and respects one another and with whom we can share many lasting memories. As of now, we’ve successfully started to form a diverse, tight-knit community with new members joining often! We’d love for you to stop by and take a look and hopefully join our server! We want not only the server to feel alive, but the community as well, meaning we’re constantly looking to form close friendships and bonds with one another! Being that our server was recently started, our map is fresh and new (we started the server and map February 12th, 2022)! In order to further strengthen the player experience, we’ve also included a variety of datapacks and plugins to not only enhance gameplay but protect those that play on our server!


OUR FOUNDING PRINCIPLES



We believe that everyone deserves respect and kindness when playing on our server with our community, and with that comes rules to help moderate and keep everyone playing happy and safe. We want people of all backgrounds to feel at home and welcome in our community and strive to create an environment in which everyone can shine! Some of our rules include:



No racism, sexism, homophobia, hate speech, or xenophobia of any kind
No griefing
No stealing
PVP is only allowed with consent
No hacking or cheating of any kind
No spamming or advertisements
Must be age 16 or above
Discord is how we engage with the community so it is a requirement


HOW TO GET WHITELISTED



All interested parties are asked to submit a personalized and detailed application before being allowed to join our server. This helps to weed out any individuals who may be harmful or disruptive to the server and allows for everyone to get a feel for who they will be playing with (minors that apply will be looked at more thoroughly). We ask that you join our discord and submit an application in our #applications channel, there you will find examples and previous applications (those with a green checkmark have been accepted). We look for detailed and personal applications so it is appreciated when an applicant puts in the time to tell us about themselves! If your application is found to be wanting, we may ask you to edit it.
