Problems with a custom arrow

Ive created a custom arrow with the renderer registered and all, but when from thhe (custom) bow i shoot a flame arrow it doesnt have the fire texture on the arrow and it doesnt turn blocks on fire (like the normal arrows shooted from a bow with the flame enchantment) but my arrow can set mobs on fire..
