[Mod Suggestion] Social Slots (Vanity Gear)

I'd like to suggest a mod that only Forge would be able to empower at the moment.

With packs like FTB providing dozens of armor sets to choose from, its a choice between vanity and stats.

What if, like Terraria, we could equip armor for stats, but optionally equip gear over it which would only be for vanity (appearance) purposes.

The alternative to this would be full transmogrification, but that seems to be less realistic as it would cause item id issues.

If a modder is willing to make such a mod and let Direwolf20 know, I'd proudly donate to support the modder's efforts.
