[1.6.2] Custom villagers with path finding?

For the mod I've decided to make, it requires custom villagers, that constantly use path finding. Though I know there is the net.minecraft.pathfinding package, I have no idea how to use it, nor can I find how to anywhere. So how would I use the path finding classes there?

 

I'm going to have custom villagers that will uses path finding alot, but they will not interact with the user. So how would I start with making my own villagers? Thanks.
