Need help - game crashes with net.minecraft.crash.ReportedException: Rendering overlay

Havent used this computer for over half a year and now when i tried to MC crashed

When the forge progress bar finishes and the game tries to go fullscreen it shows a bunch of missing letter symbols for a split second and crashes. also the exit code is -1

The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

Currently supported versions are 1.19.2 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS).
