forge keep crashing

i tried to launch forge 1.8.9-11.15.1.2318-1.8.9 (recommended and latest version of 1.8.9 forge), and it keeps crashing. i restarted my computer, updated, and updated java itself, and it still crashes with Exit Code: 1
how do i fix it?

The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

Currently supported versions are 1.19.2 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS).
