Better Foliage crashes with Optifine on every version.

If I launch Minecraft with betterFoliage and Optifine it always says 

The game crashed whilst unexpected error Error: java.lang.VerifyError: Bad local variable type

I also have forgelin installed and everything is on the newest version.

Please provide the debug.log from the logs folder in your game directory. Additionally, try removing optifine and see if that works.

There is no debug.log in my logs folder also one optifine version worked but only on 1.8.9 but I have a modpack on 1.12.2 rn that has the same issue but no optifine version worked.

The optifine version that worked was the 1.8.9 version with H5 at the end.

The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

Currently supported versions are 1.19.2 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS)
