Server starts vanilla, but it doesnt want to run forge .jar file.

My goal was to install forge 1.12.2 and put rlcraft, but when i try to install forge using the template in pufferpanel, it does not install. So I installed the forge server on a new folder to my pc, then copied it over to the server. It started vanilla, so i adjusted the server definition (how it starts mc) and put the start up

"${java} -Xmx${memory}M -Dterminal.jline=false -Dterminal.ansi=true -Dlog4j2.formatMsgNoLookups=true -jar forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2859.jar nogui"

changing forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2859.jar from minecraft_server.1.12.2.jar but when starting it, it gives this error

The version you are using is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

Currently supported versions are 1.19.2 (Latest) and 1.18.2 (LTS)
