Forge and Optifine don't want to open, can I get any help?

Ive been trying to download Forge for about an hour now and have hit a roadblock. I've been having to download and redowload, java and forge which hasn't worked. whenever I try to open Forge and optifine the same message always pops up:

The operation couldn’t be completed. Failed to execute /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk-19.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java: No such file or directory

does  anyone know a solution to this? if I could get any help at all concerning the matter id be eternally grateful.
