Hi!

Sorry if this has been asked before, I haven't seen any questions like this here so I thought I should ask.
There is a mod that I want to edit, add and change a few things. The problem is, it's not open source and its code is obfuscated. (Don't bother asking for the mod, it's private) I'm not sure if it uses some kind of obfuscation technique, but all methods, variables and classes have weird random names. Sometimes there are useless switch cases, meaningless checks that don't do anything, etc. These names are so large, that when I edit them in Explorer, windows won't even try to save them. Does anyone have any idea if I could find software capable of deobfuscating it? (Even renaming the vars/methods/classes to normal / non-random names would be enough)

Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ™‚

I mean, if the mod doesn't give you permission to do so, we're not going to provide help for it. Jarmodding is not supported on this forum.ย
