Failed to download file. Name: forge-40.2.0.jar URL: https://piston-data.mojang.com/v1/objects/2e9a3e3107cca00d6bc9c97bf7d149cae163ef21/client.jar Error details: Operation too slow. Less than 30 bytes/sec transferred the last 60 seconds Filename on disk: forge-40.2.0.jar Path: A:\Minecraft\Install\versions\forge-40.2.0\forge-40.2.0.jar Exists: Nonexistent

This error is occurring for over 3 days now, and it doesn't matter what launcher I use. I've used ATLauncher, CurseForge, MultiMC, and even tried to complete just a base 40.2.0 install via the installer and receive this error:

Downloading minecraft client failed, invalid checksum. Try Again, or use the vanilla launcher to install the vanilla version.

Tried network side, disabled all firewalls and anti-virus, rebooted modem and connected router via unplugging each for 2 minutes and plugging back in, and have reinstalled minecraft as a whole, including all mod profiles and removed all prior existing versions of forge to be safe.

Hmm, your internet is either too slow for some reason or there is something wrong with the connection itself. For the connection, you can try disabling ipv6 traffic on your machine and see if that fixes anything.

ill try disabling ipv6 as nothing else is having download issues on the machine, min speeds are around 100mb/s down and 25 mb/s uploads. I thought about that a few days ago and have been testing before attempting. Attempt made with no ipv6 and it suddenly worked. Wonder if theres been some issue between me and the source of the needed files the past few days
