Just set up a server, but everytime i try and join it either comes up with Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: Index -1 out of bounds for length 4. What if you try with Java 17? Was just looking at https://forums.minecraftforge.net/topic/125488-rules-and-frequently-asked-questions-faq/ where it lists Java versions for which version of forge. *edit: And you don't need the x86 packages, just the 64 bit ones -
When you click the link and it takes you to the ad page, do you wait the 5 seconds, and click the red Skip button at the top right? Â Just did it for recommended 1.20 build and it worked fine for me using Firefox. Â If it still doesn't work, try clicking the +Show All Versions, point at the little (i) next to Installer for the version you want, and click the link for Direct Download.

I was making a modpack to just play around and I was just testing it in creative. I got close to one of those signposts, a small structure generated by the mod Supplementaries and my game just crashed with exit code 1, so a crash report wasn't created. If I go onto Forge's website and click any version of it to install - any version at all, I've tried things from 1.12.2 to 1.20 and both the latest and suggested versions - it takes me to adfoc.us, which is normal... but my browser says that the website doesn't exist. My browser uses a Chromium base, so I tried using Firefox. Firefox takes me to the website if I say to ignore the security concerns, but all it shows me is a 1 by 1 px gif. As far as I can tell, the site is completely down. A relative of mine has tried on their computer with different browsers and again, the site appears to be completely broken. This has happened within the last two or three weeks - he downloaded 1.12.2 earlier in November but it hasn't worked for either of us since then. Does anyone have a fix or an explanation?Â
