Client missing .jar after using recommended install.jar

When I use the recommended installer for 1.19 the game .jar file isn't being created. I am pointing to the appropriate place for my vanilla install. When I go to look at the folders of versions Forge is in there but the folder only contains the .json and not the .jar file. Additionally I tested with 1.18 and 1.12 Forge recommended to see if they'd install but none would.

System Spec:

Fedora 36 (Nobara spin)
Installed Minecraft Via FlatPak
Intel 12700K
NVidia RTX 3050
32GB Memory
NVMe SSD
ASUS Mobo

Further update, I've downloaded the "other" Linux distribution from https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download and it does create a .minecraft within /home/<USERNAME>/ and I have the same issue as with the Flatpak.
