Black screen randomly appears when playing modded Minecraft 1.12.2

Earlier today I was playing a mod pack I made with some friends today and for some reason my screen kept randomly going black. I couldn't see anything, but I could walk and do everything, except for seeing. I tried removing Optfine, but it didn't work, I tried to update my drivers, but they were already fully updated. I have no idea what I should do, can somebody please help? Also, I don't it is any of the mods because my friends are having no issue with it, just me.

This sounds like a hardware issue if the screen is going black and not just the game.

It was the mod Dr Zhark's Mo creatures. I deleted it and now I can play normally
