i can not join any server with forge 1.12.2. Vanilla works fine. No it is not the server’s problem. No, youtube did not help or google either. It gets stuck on the logging in screen when i try to join a server. And later it returns withthis msg: internal exception: java.io.ioexception: an exisitng connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. the forge is a custom client tho  i could join singleplayer worlds tho, please help this problem has been concerning me for months now

It's simple. Look at your mods folder. Then, remove any mods that you haven't tried before and then run the game again. Still having the same problem? Re-add those mods and individually remove one mod, then test. Repeat until working. I really hope that you don't have a full modpack. You could also check the logs or update the mods.

Support is only provided for the current latest and LTS versions. Currently this is 1.19 and 1.18.2 respectively.

Asking about versions other than Latest and LTS is against the rules and will get your thread locked.

Providing support for versions other than Latest and LTS is against the rules and will earn you a warning and eventually a ban.
