forge install not working

I'm trying to install forge for 1.19.2, however it keeps showing errors. i've tried also versions from 1.12.2 to 1.20.1. it only stopped working recently and I don't know why. 
versions 1.12.2-1.19.4 showed an error saying "failed to download version manifest, can not find client jar URL."
version 1.20 showed an error saying "downloading minecraft client failed, invalid checksum. Try again, or use vanilla launcher to install the vanilla version."
version 1.20.1 showed an error that showed a long list of libraries that failed to load.
i've also tried using curseforge, however that isn't working either.
