mrcrayfish's gun mod not responding

when i try to play with mrcrayfish's gun mod it just makes minecraft not respond while loading, the version is correct for both the mod and for the game (it's 1.19.2 for the game), and i cant find anyone else with this issue

Whenever modded Minecraft does not respond just give the game a while, it will eventually respond after clicking the screen. Additionally you really should’ve reported this to mrcrayfish instead of the forge forums.

i've tried waiting and it didnt work at all, im gonna try waiting more and it probably wont work but  i dont know

Do you have a good pc? I’ve seen some people have to wait 30 minutes for it to load on lower end rigs. I would still report it to mrcrayfish’s GitHub page though.

i have a decent pc, i dont think anything should take more than 10 minutes to load on it
