Same Seed, different world

Featured Replies

Hey guys!

I'm trying to set up a Forge Server with a few mods, for example Biomes'O'Plenty. I found a seed i really liked, generated it localy, using the "Biomes'O'Plenty"-World Type. So far, everything works great.

But when I'm trying to generate this map on a server (exact same seed, exact same mods, exact same configs etc...) it generates a completely different environment.

See for yourselves:

Seed: 1110404644322085396

I also tried starting the world locally and uploading it, but as the generation continues, there are breaks and cut in the landscape, indicating completely different generation parameters.

What can I do? Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance,

Maxx
