In my mod I want to have a method that I can call on to play a certain .ogg file. I need this method to be able to be stopped at any point and if possible be paused. I would prefer if this music would be affected by the Minecraft option's music volume but I can make my own volume setting if needed. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Also don't expect a reply from me until tomorrow as I am posting this before I go to bed.

    Anyone have any ideas or tips to look at? I know about playBackgroundMusicEvent. Is there any way to control when it plays and what it plays.
