Hi,

I was just curious, and wanted to know if the change to Magic saplings was intentional, or if it's a bug. When I updated to 1.1.3.x, the saplings I had started growing short, squat magic trees instead of the super tall trees I was used to seeing. I looked through the changelog, but wasn't able to find anything referencing a magic tree nerf. Whether they've been intentionally nerfed or not is inconsequential in the long run, I just wanted to know for sure. Awesome mod, peeps! Keep it up

I asked Forstride on this, and he said that the trees were indeed changed. It wasn't intended as a nerf, but rather, an aesthetic change.

Oh no! The biome looks like any other biome now, with the magic tress now just being oak trees with fancy coloring. This makes me sad, since the Mystic Grove was one of the more unique and interesting biomes.

 

Is this a trend, are more biomes going to be homoginized so that they all look the same?
