Fatal crash on Mac OS X

I have the following problem:

 

When debugging / running Minecraft using Eclipse Kepler on Mac OS X 10.9, terminating causes Mac OS to freeze. The only thing that works is the cursor, but clicking anything doesnt work. Not even the clock updates. This applies for terminating with the Eclipse terminate button and terminating because of exceptions in certain circumstances.

 

The project JRE is Java 1.7_25.
