I'm using forge 953 and running the install script. It fails to download a ton of stuff and then throws this Decompile Exception: 1. I have scoured the internet looking for fixes, but nothing seems to make a difference.

 

Can anyone help with this issue? I'm running Windows 8 and Minecraft 1.6.4

    I was able to resolve on my own through many trial and errors. My advice is to keep attempting it. I moved mine to the root of the c drive and it worked. Mystery...
