I want to add a block to the village blacksmith house without editing the base minecraft.

So far:

If i edit ComponentVillagerHouse1 it works.

I created the following:

package fluffy.lantern.events;

import java.util.Random;

import fluffy.lantern.Lantern;

import net.minecraft.world.World;

import net.minecraft.world.gen.structure.ComponentVillageHouse1;

import net.minecraft.world.gen.structure.StructureBoundingBox;

public class BarrelGen extends ComponentVillageHouse1{

@Override

public boolean addComponentParts(World par1World, Random par2Random, StructureBoundingBox par3StructureBoundingBox) {

this.placeBlockAtCurrentPosition(par1World, Lantern.barrel.blockID, 1, 7, 2, 1, par3StructureBoundingBox);

return super.addComponentParts(par1World, par2Random, par3StructureBoundingBox);

}

}

It dosen't work.

Can someone help me with this?

With PopulateChunkEvent.Post you can tell if a village has been created and then search for the structure you want in this area, then place block where you want.

See an example.

SLOVED IT.

How to?

Created a new VillageHandler and ComponentVillage.

Copy ComponentVillageHouse2 and add my new block.

Set the Village weight to low.

Its spawn a new Library house with my block.

If you need the code just look up Minecraft and TinkersConstruck source.
