I've heard several people claiming that my mod is incompatible with Biomes O' Plenty, in the way that the world generation features do not appear in the custom world type.

My mod uses the standard Forge way of adding generation features by using IWorldGenerator and GameRegistry.registerWorldGenerator. I assume the custom world calls the world generators registered by Forge?

If so, could the problem be how I try to detect which realm is being generated? My mod uses this world generator: https://github.com/JamiesWhiteShirt/Glenns-Gases/blob/master/src/minecraft/glenn/gases/WorldGeneratorGases.java

This method doesn't seem to work, so in my 1.7.2 version I'm switching to doing it like this:

String s = chunkGenerator.makeString();

if(s.equals("HellRandomLevelSource"))
{
this.genOreWithChance(Gases.generateElectricGas, this.electricGasGen, 40, 128, 4);
this.genOreWithChance(Gases.generateCorrosiveGas, this.corrosiveGasGen, 40, 128, 4);
}
else if(s.equals("RandomLevelSource"))
{
this.genStandardOre1(Gases.generateGreenGas, this.risingFlammableGasGen, 16, 48);
this.genStandardOre1(Gases.generateRedGas, this.fallingExplosiveGasGen, 0, 16);
this.genStandardOre1(Gases.generateNitrousGas, this.nitrousGasGen, 0, 16);
}

Would this ensure compatibility?
