Can someone tell me a way to re position that chat box? (There may be something really simple that im missing but I cant figure it out)

 

Essentials my mod replaces minecraft's Hud with a Halo style hud. However the chatbox gets hidden behind the overlay.

 

So... can someone tell me a way to re position that chat box? (All I need to do is move it up)
