RetsuWolf Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 !!HELP NEEDED!! Anyone know how to generate large oak trees with NO leaves in a specific biome? If you know of a way PLEASE let me know. It will be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Quote
Jdb100 Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Easiest way would be to copy the large oak tree generation and remove the leaf spawning code then set the trees that spawn in your biome to be your new tree without leaves. RetsuWolf Posted April 26, 2014 Author Posted April 26, 2014 Ah great idea! Thank you for the quick reply and I will be sure to try this. Quote
RetsuWolf Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 It has worked! Although the tree generates in all biomes and I'd like to make it so it only generates in one biome. Any ideas or know of any tutorials? Anyone's help is much appreciated! Tree image: Quote
larsgerrits Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 In the world generator where you generate the tree, you can use World.getBiomeGenForCoords to get the BiomeGenBase of that coords, and if you compare that to the biome you want it to generate in, generate it, else don't. RetsuWolf Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Thank you! It has worked wonderfully. The tree now only spawns in my own biome. Quote
