Unable to connect/go on singleplayer.

Whenever I try to connect to a server, I am unable to connect and I am stuck at this screen.

Whenever I try to play on a singleplayer world with Forge, I crash and get this error report.

Other info : Tried with a clean install, didn't work. Tried switching to my vanilla profile, it worked. Windows 8. Java 7e55. Installed mods, didn't work. Did not install mods, didn't work. Used Windows Installer.

 

What do I do? There are a few mods that help me greatly when I play, and without Forge I can't use them.
