I'm having the same issue but literally nobody is doing anything about it and I haven't seen any fixes besides "update your drivers" or "update java" which hasn't worked at all. One of the more unique fixes I've seen was remove create but it still does it even without create. It really just seems like Forge is broken right now. If I could help you I would. -

I'm not exactly sure how to update my AMD drivers from the website with my O.S. (There's no download/guide for it) but I figured out how to install it with a thing with the O.S. and it still didn't launch. I also launched Create: Perfect world (Just found a random modpack that would actually run without my laptop exploding) and it worked fine -
The game crashes at "scanning candidates" and opens the Minecraft launcher again and greets me with exit error 1. My drives are all up to date (I use NVidia) and I'm on java 17 Aswell. if anyone could help me, I would be forever grateful. Thanks, Fr0sty. -
