The title says it all is there a method that gets run when minecraft Loads. I am looking tom do this because I want to have a click sound happen when the game is loaded.

There are quite a few events that FML triggers during the loading process, like the FMLServerStarted event and such.  You can see more on how to use events on my tutorial: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/p/minecraft-forge-172-event-handling.html

In your case you should probably look at the FML Life Cycle Events section of my tutorial.

this tutorial is awesome, but in the "Having fun 1" whenever I jump nothing happens.

CODE:

public class Boing {

@SubscribeEvent(priority=EventPriority.HIGHEST, receiveCanceled=true)

public void onEvent(LivingJumpEvent event)

{

    // DEBUG

    if (event.entity instanceof EntityPlayer)

    {

        System.out.println("Boing");

    }

}

}

If an event is located in the cpw package, you register it in the FMLCommonHandler.instance().bus(), or if it's located in the minecraftforge package, you register it MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.

There are some exceptions, like the ore gen events which are registered in the MinecraftForge.ORE_EVENT_BUS (something along those lines).

I believe that most events that have the Living prefix are to be registered in the MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.
