Hi! I am making a mod and would like some help on making a custom bucket for my custom Fluid. I have the fluid and the container in the game and the fluid works fine, and the container places the fluid, but my container turns into a regular bucket after it picks up or places my fluid.

Any Help is appreciated.

Thank you!

public boolean onItemUse(ItemStack stack, EntityPlayer player, World world, int x, int y, int z, int side, float px, float py, float pz)

You can use that method inside your item class to access player.inventory and switch out the empty container item for a full one.

Do you know how I could have it so that when I right click on the Fluid source block with my custom empty bucket, it deletes that fluid from that spot and gives me a full bucket? (filling a bucket without using default bucket things).

Why would you make a new empty bucket? O.o

Use BucketFillEvent to make your fluid work with the vanilla bucket.

I want to add a goblet or something imstead of a bucket for my custom fluid.

Is there a way to check for a source block of a fluid rather than any block of the fluid?

Sure. Look at ItemBucket.

I can't find any specific code pertaining to checking for a source block...
